Name:  Allan Nott
Instrument:  Percussion

Allan Nott graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA degree in music education.  Mr. Nott taught instrumental music for several years in his home state of Iowa where he also performed with the Warterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony Orchestra and the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra.

Since moving to the Twin Cities, Mr. Nott has given private lessons as well as percussion seminars in a number of schools.  Mr. Nott is an original member of the LWBB and serves as section leader of the percussion section.

He has also performed in a number of other organizations, including Encore Wind Ensemble, Northern Symphony Orchestra, St. Paul Civic Symphony, Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra, Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis, the North Suburban Concert Band, the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir and at various churches with brass choirs and ensembles.
