Lake Wobegon^® Brass Band Member

Name:  David L. Peterson
Instrument:  Euphonium

David Peterson plays the euphonium, the tenor voice of the brass band.  He completed his undergraduate music degree at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and his master of music degree (tuba) at the University of Michigan, studying with Dr. William D. Revelli, Glen Smith and Brian Bowman.

Dave undertook additional study with Dr. Kenton Frohrip, St. Cloud State University.  He often solos with the band and is one of the founding members of the Lake Wobegon^® Brass Band.  He is also a member of the North Metropolitan Brass Quintet and the Minnesota Symphonic Winds. 

Dave teaches at Northdale Middle School in Coon Rapids and has been a music educator in the Anoka-Hennepin, Minnesota, School System for 30 years.
